Supreme Seal Spray Foam provides spray foam insulation for homes, businesses, and agricultural buildings throughout New York and surrounding areas. As it is applied, the foam expands to fill the cracks, seams, and penetrations that ordinary insulation leaves open, then cures into a continuous barrier that stops air movement through the building envelope. Closed-cell spray foam cures rigid and dense. We spray Huntsman Heatlok HFO High Lift, delivering R-7.4 per inch, the highest R-value per inch of any common insulation.  It resists water, functions as a vapor retarder at the proper thickness, and bonds so firmly that it adds strength to the framing and panels it is applied to. Open-cell spray foam expands more and costs less per inch of coverage, and it dampens sound noticeably better than fiberglass, which makes it a strong choice for interior partition walls and sound control. Because open-cell foam is vapor permeable, our climate adds an important rule: in exterior walls and roof assemblies, open-cell must be paired with a properly installed vapor retarder on the interior side, as the New York State building code requires. We follow that standard on every project. Where a vapor retarder is not part of the assembly, we specify closed-cell foam instead, which performs as its own vapor retarder at the proper thickness. Matching the foam to the assembly, rather than spraying one product everywhere, is the difference between insulation that performs for decades and insulation that traps moisture in your walls.

What the Installation Involves and What You Will Notice

Spray foam works in both new construction and existing buildings. In existing homes, it is most often installed as part of a remodel or addition, applied to rim joists, band joists, and the wall and ceiling cavities the project opens up, often alongside blown-in fiberglass as part of a complete residential insulation plan. Every project begins with an evaluation of the building to determine where foam will deliver the most benefit, which type belongs in each location, and what thickness is required. This service does not include drywall removal or repair, structural work, or mold remediation.
